In occasione del Centenario dalla nascita dell’artista, l’esposizione presenta una rassegna di bozzetti originali, ritratti, manifesti di uno dei protagonisti della cartellonistica cinematografica dalla fine degli anni Quaranta all’inizio degli anni Settanta.
La sua attività basata su una continua ricerca di stimoli lo porta a maturare interesse per alcune importanti manifestazioni tradizionali che ancora oggi suscitano un profondo coinvolgimento emotivo.
La personale capacità di tratto, i colori fiammeggianti uniti ad una notevole forza comunicativa sono i caratteri che possiamo ritrovare anche nei bozzetti su carta che ritraggono la Festa dei Ceri sottolineandone così le suggestioni che lui stesso ha vissuto in quel giorno.


To mark the Centenary of the artist’s birth, this exhibition includes a collection of original sketches, portraits, and posters by one of the protagonists of the film billboard from the late Forties to the early Seventies. Basing his production on a continuous search for new inspirations, he earned interest in some major traditional events that still to this day evoke a deep emotional involvement. His drawing skills, the flaming colors combined with a remarkable communicative power are the features that we can find in the sketches on paper that portray the Festa dei Ceri, thus emphasizing the passionate enthusiasm that the artist himself lived during that day.
